Many trout enthusiasts keep their favourite fishing hole a secret and for good reason. Finding these evasive fish takes some work but when you get one on your line you will know it! Trout are a very smart fish and won’t just bit anything put in front of them, you have to be very calm and do not let them see you approaching a river bank. Cast your line upstream and let it naturally flow down the river. If your bait or fly looks suspicious they will pass on it. If it looks natural they will hit it if they are hungry or protecting their territory.
